Saturday I had to make a quick trip to Corbett and back. Blake and Scout met me for a quick breakfast at Dea's before I had to get back to Sisters. Summer is the time that I make 2 trips to Corbett every weekend. Kenz is working at Trout Creek this year and she only has 24 hours off from Saturday to Sunday, so I go get her, bring her home, hurriedly do laundry and get her back, and jet back home again Sunday night because of work on Monday morning.
My truck is my little bubble away from the world... my music, my thoughts, time to pray, yell, cry, sing and emerge at the end of the road renewed and re-balanced. "decompressed!"
Uhhh, anyone stupid enough to think glass pipes are for tobacco? My daughter and I mock this place often!
ReplyDeleteWait!!! what??? Were you in town yesterday?
